Bosnia simplifies procedure for employment of foreign workers
“We’ve taken a small yet significant step, and I hope this marks the beginning of a comprehensive reform in our legislation aimed at simplifying the process for foreign workers both from abroad and within Bosnia and Herzegovina. At present, foreign workers must first secure permits for entry and residence in BiH, followed by the acquisition of work permits. This situation creates challenges for both the workers and their employers, as there can be an additional wait of one to two months before they are eligible to commence work,” Konakovic clarified.
