Bosnia Central Bank to introduce real-time payment system TIPS Clone
The initial phase of the TIPS Clone will concentrate on domestic transactions using Bosnian marks. In a subsequent phase, once legal prerequisites are fulfilled, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to integrate with the EU’s TIPS system for euro transactions. The platform is also anticipated to foster innovation, enhance new banking services, and elevate the customer experience, with features like QR code payments ensuring efficiency, security, and dependability.
