Bosnia executes 110 million marks payment in Viaduct case, ending prolonged political deadlock
Hasanovic clarified that the funds used for the payment did not originate from the budget of national institutions and will have no impact on pensions, salaries, or social services. Instead, the money was retrieved from a special account at the Central Bank of BiH, which holds road toll revenue due to the RS entity. The utilization of this account was sanctioned under Articles 6 and 7 of the decision made by the High Representative on July 17, 2025, and is exclusively intended for the settlement of this judgment.
