Mirsad Duratović, the vice president of NSRS and a representative of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, believes that the SNSD initiative for his dismissal from this position lacks any basis.

“I believe that the initiative itself, for the reasons stated, has no foundation. The SDP remains committed to its political stance of preserving and strengthening the state and state institutions, regardless of any potential dismissals, and we pledged to this upon taking office as elected officials,” Duratović briefly stated for Fena.

The SNSD deputy group has submitted a proposal for the dismissal of Mirsad Duratović, the vice president of NSRS from among the Bosniaks, to the cabinet of the NSRS president.

As a reason for his dismissal, the SNSD deputy group notes that “the SDP condemned the unconstitutional and illegal activities conducted by RS institutions during the Presidency session on September 11, aimed at undermining the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and causing complete legal uncertainty.”

In the initiative for Duratović’s dismissal, the SNSD states that “the SDP considers the new RS government illegal, despite no institution having made a determination on it.”

At the same time, the SNSD deputy group proposes Nina Bukejlović as a candidate for the position of vice president of NSRS representing the Bosniaks. Bukejlović was a member of SDS and is now in SNSD. In the 2016 elections, she identified as a Serb, and two years later as a Bosniak.
