Sanja Vulić, representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, told Srna that “the chairman of this house, Denis Zvizdić, is pandering to Christian Schmidt instead of to those who elected him and entrusted him to enact laws in parliament.”
– Zvizdić is the one who nods to Schmidt, a person who is irrelevant, not legitimate, and who confers authority upon himself.
You swear by the parliament, receive a salary, enjoy benefits, yet you do not stand up for what the people sent you here for, the respect for the laws that the same body enacts, Vulić said regarding Zvizdić’s comments on the reactions to the verdict against President Milorad Dodik.
– Nor will you, Zvizdić, ever be a leader like Milorad Dodik, a man with a clear stance and the support of his people. Time will tell, and perhaps paradoxically, you have now emboldened and united us the most, Vulić stated.
She remarked that all abuses of institutions and attempts to outsmart political will by force are legally null and politically dangerous.
– Zvizdić’s claims that the trial against the President of the Republic of Srpska did not judge the people, but an individual, are not true; the only truth is that more than 300,000 citizens of the Republic of Srpska elected Dodik as president.
It is only accurate that the verdict was not against Dodik but against Dayton BiH and what was signed, guaranteed, and internationally recognized. All your legal acrobatics, appeals, abuses of institutions, and attempts to forcefully outsmart political will are all legally null, Vulić conveyed.
