Szijjártó misrepresented Dodik, allowed public advocacy of secession
“In his remarks, Minister Szijjártó inaccurately portrayed BiH citizen Milorad Dodik as the president of the BiH entity, despite the fact that, according to the decisions of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s relevant institutions, he lacks any official mandate within the executive authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina expresses significant concern that, during yesterday’s visit to Budapest and in a public setting alongside Minister Szijjártó, Milorad Dodik promoted secession and threatened the territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without any anticipated response from Minister Szijjártó,” the protest note indicates.
